Care, explained

A guide to peptide care

Check the people involved

Who makes and sends the medicine?

Ask the service to name the pharmacy before you compare plans.

Get a name you can check

Compounded means prepared to order. Ask for the pharmacy’s full name and whether it makes the medicine, sends it, or both.

Pharmacy licences are held in state board of pharmacy records, separate from doctors’ licence records.

FDA has a state-by-state page that links to pharmacy licence searches.

Find that lookup on the Further reading page. Match the details with what the service gives you.

Check the destination too

In most states, an out-of-state pharmacy needs that state’s licence or permit before shipping medicine there, under the rules checked September 26, 2026.

Being registered with FDA does not mean FDA recommends a pharmacy or other medicine maker. Registration alone gives no proof that its medicines have FDA approval. This rule was checked September 26, 2026.

A permit is permission from the state. Ask which record covers delivery to your location.

Keep this in view

A service may have a different name from the pharmacy it uses. Keep both in your notes.
