Prepare for a visit
What happens after the visit?
Read the plan past the first visit. Ask who will still be available.
Name the next conversation
Ask when the doctor or other health professional plans to review progress and how that review will happen.
If tests are proposed, ask who will explain them. If medicine is prescribed, ask where questions about it go.
Request contact details for calls or messages, plus the times when you can expect a reply. Ask what to do at night, if no one replies, or if a problem needs urgent help.
Read the ongoing terms
Online weight-care offers often paired a monthly membership fee with a separate medicine bill at the September 26, 2026 check.
Ask which follow-up visits the fee covers. Ask whether a refill request starts a new charge.
Request the cancellation terms and what happens to pending visits or results if you leave the service.
Ask how problems are handled
Ask for a clear contact route before leaving the visit. For questions about preparing or measuring a prescribed medicine, ask the prescriber or pharmacist to explain.
FDA’s MedWatch programme lets patients report problems with medicines directly.
The reporting link is in Further reading. Reporting is separate from arranging care for a problem.

Keep this in view
